Refrigeration Engineering Manager

Location: Florida

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of refrigeration systems for a premier NAFEM commercial refrigeration company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in refrigeration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage the refrigeration engineering team to achieve project goals and objectives.
– Design, develop, and optimize refrigeration systems to meet business needs and compliance standards.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of refrigeration systems into overall operations.
– Monitor and evaluate system performance, providing technical guidance and solutions for improvement.
– Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.
– Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
– Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
– Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems design and maintenance.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Effective communication skills.
