Job Description
ASC Administrator | Southeast Texas
We’re seeking an experienced Administrator to lead operations at a Joint Commission-accredited ambulatory surgery center in a great metro area in Southeast Texas. This multi-specialty facility features 4 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms (adding one more), supporting procedures in GI, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

What We’re Looking For
- The right leader for this role brings either ASC Administrator experience or Director of Surgical Services experience from an acute care hospital with ASC exposure.
- You’re operationally strong, relationship-driven, and focused on growth.
- You know how to engage physicians as partners, build trust with clinical teams, and execute on quality, operational, and financial performance.
The Role
- You’ll oversee all aspects of facility operations—from day-to-day clinical and business functions to financial management, regulatory compliance, and physician relations.
- You’ll work directly with the Governing Board, medical staff, and facility leadership to maintain operational excellence and drive sustainable performance.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing daily operations across administrative, clinical support, and business functions
- Building and maintaining strong physician relationships and supporting credentialing processes
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
- Developing and managing operating, staffing, and capital budgets while monitoring financial performance
- Leading staffing strategy, performance management, and workforce planning
- Overseeing quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
- Managing vendor and service contracts
- Identifying opportunities for service line development and operational growth
